Maya and the Rising Dark är första boken i middle grade serien med samma namn och jag gillade den här boken, även om den inte blev någon ny favorit.

Handlingen var spännande men det var något som gjorde att jag inte kände mig helt fast. Jag kände inte heller att jag verkligen kände för karaktärerna även om jag tyckte om Maya och de andra.

Kort och gott var det en bra middle grade bok men jag är osäker på om jag kommer fortsätta med serien, det finns så många andra middle grade serier som jag hellre läser.
Letar du efter en middle grade fantasy så kan jag ändå rekommendera den!
